The Chapter 14 Doghouse at Coverings 2024

At Coverings 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia, Jeffrey Court brought a touch of tail-wagging charm to the event with our charming doghouse—a delightful creation that showcases the versatility and style of our Chapter 14 The Press collection.

In a heartwarming blend of creativity and compassion, the Tile Council of North America, Inc. (TCNA) and the Homeless Pets Foundation combined efforts. The result? One-of-a-kind, handcrafted tiled doghouses, each a testament to the remarkable elegance, versatility, and style of tile.

Inspired by the timeless allure of The Press glass mosaics, Jeffrey Court’s whimsical doghouse was designed to be more than just a shelter. We set out to design a doggie retreat fit for royalty—a plush palace where comfort meets charm, and durability meets delight. Crafted with pressed glass tiles that promise durability and charm, the design exudes a sense of warmth and welcome from every angle.

The Daily Mosaic in Beige sets the tone for this canine castle, with its cheerful floral motif reminiscent of a sunny day in the park. Paired with the Register Mosaic in Beige adorning the roof, the doghouse exudes a cozy, homey vibe that any furry friend would adore. And let's not forget the walls adorned with the 5/8” Mosaic in Beige, adding style and sophistication to the traditional doghouse scene.

But our doghouse isn't just about looks—it's about making a difference in the lives of pets in need. Partnering with TCNA we donated our creation to the Homeless Pets Foundation, supporting their mission to provide shelter and care for cats and dogs awaiting adoption in the Atlanta area.

During Coverings 2024, our Chapter 14 doghouse was highlighted at TCNA's booth, inviting attendees to marvel at its charm and craftsmanship and allowing four-legged paws to explore their potential home-to-be. We hope that our creation brings joy to these pets who have faced hardship and uncertainty.

In the end, this doghouse is a testament to the transformative power of tile—a reminder that with a little creativity and compassion, we can create spaces that not only look beautiful but also make a difference in the world. And as we continue to innovate and inspire, we are honored to play a part in brightening the lives of pets and their owners alike.
