Vintage Studio

Chapter 2 Vintage Studio was designed to be the “go-to” value line for our customers. Great care was taken to create a line that meets our standards of design and style while meeting the budget conscious needs of many of today’s consumers.

As the name “Vintage Studio” implies, the new Chapter 2 is the melding of classic “vintage” style with forward “studio” thinking and design. A key example of this creative marriage is the offering of both a timeless 3×6 subway tile and a 3×12 bar tile to satisfy the modern design preference. Chapter 2 is available in six chic neutral tones, which creates a subtle accent of color to any sophisticated living space. The fields are offered in two sizes: 3×6 and 3×12, and in two formats –flat and beveled. To finish it off, we created five versatile and stylish trim pieces to add that perfect touch to any Chapter 2 installation. We also answered a couple inherent questions that have plagued beveled tile installations: How to finish the perimeter of a bevel installation, and how to complete a linear run. To finish the perimeter, we created the ceramic “Ramp Edge” piece which modules perfectly with both the bevel and the flat tiles. To complete a run without an awkward cut, we included a 3×3 beveled tile that is “dropped in” at the end of the run. Voila! During our 2014 update of Vintage Studio we introduced our “Brushwork” and “Composition” mosaics as the newest members of the Chapter 2 collection. The Brushwork mosaic, is a chic linear stick pattern that is available in solids of all six field colors and two blends named “Natural” and “Organic.” The Composition mosaic is a traditional 1-inch stacked pattern perfect for shower floors and is available in the “Natural” and “Organic” color blends only. Last but definitely not least, we included “Studio Glass” two beautiful glass mosaics that add a touch of chic, and work perfectly with the color scheme of Chapter 2. These mosaics feature style and design at incomparable value – just like the ceramic components of Chapter 2 Vintage Studio.

Chapter 2 Vintage Studio has minimal shade variation in comparison to our hand-crafted lines. However, we strongly recommend laying out and blending the tiles prior to installation. This step will ensure a proper color blend in order to achieve a classic look for your installation.
