Jeffrey Court Blog

In the midst of spring, with summer just around the corner, an airy trend is popping into the interior design world. Designers have reinvented macramé from colorful plastics to boho, braided art. The combination of geometric lines with movement of fringe and natural elements provide the perfect accent to an empty wall, window or table.

While macramé may not fit every designer’s vision, these same elements can still inspire soothing patterns and textures for spacious kitchens, spa bathrooms and more by lightening up a wall with graceful mosaics in pale shades.

At Jeffrey Court, Chapter 11- Align features Harmony, a limestone blend mosaic in fair-colored neutrals. This vertical, geometric design alternates color and shape in uniform lines while still remaining delicate and soft. In Chapter 5- Studio Gazette, Petal Glass in white or taupe incorporates the smooth, demure flow of macramé fringe with rounded sides.

The best part of this style? It can be as subtle as you visualize it. While this trend typically relaxes spaces as curtains, circular wall pieces and table runners, you can take it to the next step with simple touches from backsplashes to shower tiling and anywhere in between.
